A screen changer is a manual or automatic switching device that includes one or more filters, used to filter out foreign particles and impurities during the plasticizing material flow filter. The filter screen is supported by an alloy porous plate, which is installed on a plate or column type carrier. The carrier can be moved to switch between the working position of a system and the offline non working position. The screen changer can be installed on any new or existing extruder, melt pump, reactor, or other extrusion production line. It can be used to filter any type of polymer, rubber, or ceramic melt. Manual screen changer
Manual screen changer, as the name suggests, is a device that directly switches between screens manually. Manual screen changers have advantages such as small size and low cost, but their shortcomings are also obvious: slow screen changing speed, usually requiring shutdown for screen changing, and due to considerations of friction resistance and sealing performance, the diameter of the filter screen is generally below 100mm.
Hydraulic automatic screen changer
Hydraulic automatic mesh changer relies on a complex hydraulic station to switch back and forth between mesh plates or columns. Hydraulic automatic screen changer has advantages such as compact volume, good back pressure sealing, and fast screen changing speed, but its shortcomings are relatively more acceptable: high cost and complex hydraulic structure.
Mesh belt type fully automatic mesh filter
This series of filters consists of a 10 meter or 20 meter filter belt, heating and cooling series, and electronic control system. No external power required, relying on pressure to activate the driving device to automatically control the screen change. There is no fluctuation in the material flow and no deformation of the product during the mesh replacement process. Suitable for: PP, PE, ABS, PS, PMMA and other plastic melts, widely used in the production of various films, sheets, high-quality, fiber optic, drawing, granulation and other long process products.
